This wine is 100% Pinot Noir sourced from an array of exceptional Sonoma Coast winegrowing sites, including vineyards in Green Valley, Sonoma Valley and the Russian River Valley. Some of the appellation’s most distinguished viticulturists and vineyard owners provide fruit for this complex blend, including the Dutton Brothers, the Martinelli family, Charlie Chenoweth, and Steve Hill.
This wine undergoes a multi-yeast fermentation (wild and cultured) followed by full malo-lactic fermentation in Burgundian French oak barrels (42% new). Bottled without fining or filtration.
